A Cake Representing the Opening Positions of the Battle of Trafalgar of 21 October 1805

A sheet cake representing the sea, with compass arrow and waves to indicate the wind direction.

Chrisber attaches flags to toothpicks.

The flag/sails indicate nationality, and have the name of the ship on the back side.

Each ship is a cream puff; filled with Crème Chocolat for the combined fleet and Crème Anglaise for the British fleet.

An overhead view of the cake, still in the kitchen.

The cake is much admired and exclaimed over!
